lazy-ass

last thursday, i went to UiTM to make my recognition letter as succesfully completed my study. i know it will take 2 days to complete it, but i desperately need it right away to be sent to JPA. plus, it would be much hassle for me to come back later to collect the letter since nobody will be available to send me to UiTM.

so, as we reached UiTM around 12pm, the staffs told me that all the academic staffs there were in meeting and that person told me that to come back again after lunch hour. so, bb and i killed our time by driving around and accompanied bb to have his lunch. (i was fasting that day..hehe). so, around 2.30pm, i went again to the office, and i tried my best to get my letter done by that day, unfortunately they won't let me!!

i used the excuses that i already working and take my day off that particular day just to make that stupid letter! then, he told me, it took 2 days to complete (like i don't know). so, i told him that it would be ridiculous for me to take another day off next week just to collect it since i already on leave that day (well, just imagine this excuse is true..hehe), i also told him that if i ever need to come to collect after office hour, the faculty office already closed by then. then, that stupid lazy ass government man quiet for a while, and told me the same thing again that it took 2 days to complete that letter!! i was sooo pissed off with him. one, because he is being a typical government servant with that lazy attitude, two, because he just simply didn't have any better idea to give me good reason his refusal to make that letter, and three, because he is simply heartless!!!! imagine if the person with such request are living far away from shah alam, do they need to book an hotel, staying there for 2 days just to wait for a sheet of letter?? omg. it's not like they have to compose the letter, they just need to fill in the name and few details like IC number and student ID on the existing letter in their computer.

so, yesterday, lucky for me as abah took his day off, so he was free to send me to faculty and collect that letter. guess what, i rang the bell twice, there are like 5-6 staffs inside there, but all of them pretended like they are having a critical level deafness although they already meeting my eyes. wtf!!! the best part was, then, came the same previous man, with his slowly ever walk forwarded to the counter to pass me my letter. great just great pakcik. met hafeez and mai on my way back to abah's car and chatted a little with them. well, at least, it ease my madness a little. haha. mai and hafeez, good luck and take care!

this situation was not only happen to me, but i guess with other students too. too bad, if this image they portray to students or outsiders, just forget all the dreams to be the best international university and what not. it's a shame to be so-called hospitality faculty with none of the staffs are hospitable.

Midnight Sun

few weeks ago when i was in my hometown, my cousin told me about stephenie meyer's 5th sequel of twilight. i got sooo excited as when i got home, i googled about it and checked about it at steph's official website. yeah, it was true. however, steph said, she thought to release the novel after 2 years of breaking dawn (im not sure either movie or novel. i hope the novel!) has released where people already forget about the twilight phonemenon. she said that because some of the unreleased novel draft were already leaked and exposed to the Internet without her permission. too bad :(

but, steph is so generous by uploading the draft of the 5th novel officially at her website which can be downloaded (yeay!). but, it not satisfy me enough as the story is unfinished T_T the title of the novel is Midnight Sun which basically it's rewrite of Twilight but with Edward's perspective. i hope the novel will be released to market as soon as possible. just can't wait!! it's the same thing goes with the Mini-shopaholic novel which currently not available at MPH yet. why they have to torture me by waiting??!!!

here goes the link where you can read steph's thought on Midnight Sun and also to download the draft of it :)

thankful

got back home yesterday after spending 2 weeks at my hometown to accompany my grandmother. she's not feeling well and has problem with her leg. she needs to hold to someone/something when she's walking :( i was a bit reluctant to get home actually when i'm thinking of her, but, i need to attend some interviews and settle down some jobs :(

my result was out last night. alhamdulillah, not spending more than an hour to get the result. (uitm's website always hang and slow in time like this). hard to get into the exam's result link and i checked thru mini transcript instead. alhamdulillah, all papers are clear. i didn't expect this number since i thought i did bad during my final. i don't even dare to think about the possibilities of my result during my holiday. it is far of my expectation. i am so so so thankful and glad. nak buat sujud syukur, tapi tengah cuti pulak :P i am so so so thankful to Allah because He still gives me a chance to graduate on time and give me a good CGPA for me to graduate in First Class position (thinking of this makes me cry to think of His Almightyness). i thought i would graduated on Second Upper since my last CGPA was 3.44. but, if He says if it happen, it would. be and be it. kun faya kun. congratulations to all my friends too! this Bachelor Degree taught me that it's not the number that matters, but the effort towards getting the number that counts (because some people cheated to get high marks and such). so, be proud of yourselves!
