stock refill

went to Subang Parade with bb just now. well, just to spend time together since i'll be busy next week. took a chance to buy my working stocks at Cold Storage. heee~what i meant by stock is....

this is only half of them. i don't know, sitting infront of computer for whole day making me hungry all the time. keep on munching to avoid from sleeping on the keyboard and, to fill my never ending hunger at work. i think, i'm gaining weight. don't have enough courage to scale my weigh since i noticed recently that my jeans are too tight on me and i'm no longer uses last hole on my belt..

Derrick & Team

did i inform you guys that my team has won the best team in achieving highest successful rate in my department? okayh, it's no longer a question, there's an answer in that statement :P ok, so, as for the winning prize, my team has won a hair spa package at Derrick & Team saloon at Maju Junction. haha, must be weird to hear such prize isn't it? well, in my department, majority of the staffs are women. the men only can be counted by finger. so...............definitely the prize is perfect for us :P

the period to claim the prize is only valid until 31st december, so, last week, my officemate, Syaz and i, went to this saloon to claim our prize. we thought it's a perfect time to relax our head & mind after stressful day at work. too bad, on the contrary, we get more stressful instead! the saloon is so pack with people, probably because the next day is Christmas, so, they did our hair so "cincai". the treatment suppose to take about 2 hours and more, but, they did that within a short time. the package supposedly include treatment, wash, cut & blow. i did all that, but too bad for Syaz, that she was cheated by her hairdresser. she was told that she need to add rm15 for the special hair treatment and she agreed to that. when it comes to payment time, suddenly she was charged rm30! and, she also told me that if she wanted to cut her hair, she needs to pay separate price for haircut! poor for her :( lucky that my hairdresser is so nice ;p

another thing.................because of the hair treatment, i was late for my date with bb!! sorry dearie, i thought i can steal 1 hour time to do my hair, never thought that it would take times :(

thanks CIMB for such fabulous prize. i considered it as fabulous as i never had hair treatment before. Ha Ha Ha.

christmas gift exchange

christmas is approaching soon. well, it's not like i'm celebrating it. no. but, every year at CIMB, they would held a christmas gift exchange among staffs at every department. for this year, they already put a minimum of rm20 for the gift's value. i quite understand of this rule because this is to avoid some people cheating by giving cheap stuffs which would be unfair those who receive it. well, anyway, the process is going like this, we were required to give ourselves a pseudonym and write them on paper. then, after all pseudonyms are collected, each of us had to pick randomly that pseudonym to determine to whom we would buy gift for. i chose a name Fleur. well, it is stand for "flower" in French :P

all the gifts must be brought last Monday and were arranged under a small christmas tree in our office.

look at them. so colourful right??

so, today was the day of the presents giving ceremony. all of us were gathered around at this tree's area, and each of us were called forward to receive the gifts. on the presents' surface, we already pasted the pseudonym of the receiver and our name. so, the name called are based on that. it's a very relaxing and a cheerful short moment to escape from work and had a laugh since some of the pseudonyms are so funny.

guess what i've got:

jeng jeng jeng..a very bright red-coloured bag..what could it be?

tadaaa!!!!
OMG. i'm loving it to bits!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and now i can replace my ugly looking paper bag..yippeee!!

i was sooooooo excited to receive this gift because well, first, i bring home-packed lunch everyday and i need a proper bag to place my food containers. i already searched for it at Ikea, Parkson and Jusco but couldn't find any. sooo...can you imagine how excited i am to receive this?????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it can be sooooo convenient to be brought on train, it is more neat, lighter, and you are worry-free from the thought that your paper bag might be leaked & tear up.

i guess, maybe this person who given me this gift already know who i am. maybe she/he already looked at my real name at the pseudonyms' list and see me that i bring home-packed lunch everyday and eat at pantry :P seriously, i'm so thrilled and excited, well, till now. of course, all my colleagues laughed and say that this gift fits me perfectly since my tumbler also broken due to my stupidity filled my tumbler with hot water. haha. i think the person who gave me this Tupperware set is a Tupperware dealer? :-?

oh, by the way. for this activity, me myself gave a Body Shop shower gel + lotion set. it's the fastest and easiest gift i could find because Body Shop already put their products in pretty boxes + baskets for Christmas celebration. hihihihi :P

yes, must be you guys thought it's not good for Muslim like me to celebrate others' festive but, as i always believe, this is not i wanted, but i work there, so, i'm just doing my part as a worker. i take it as my other job responsibility and no intention at all to celebrate or even to praise over at others' festive celebration. what's important is respect and your real intention. so, chill lah! :P

finally, after 1 month of waiting, i get this! weehuuuu~

the fact that i don't need to queue up to get visitor pass really excites me. haha. and and, another fact, i don't have to be like a statue in front of entrance door everyday waiting for someone to open it for me since my visitor pass can't access it. double yeays!

p/s: i owe my blog on convocation entry. already had a draft on it. just to lazzzzy to upload the zillions pictures. the truth is, i'm still waiting for my photographer to upload my convocation pictures. can't wait to see them!

convocation

alhamdulillah, my convocation this year went smoothly. had so much fun during the event. well, it was quite boring actually because my turn in #2!!! i had to sit on the front row and had to act formally with all the ethics and stuffs because any minor fault movement would bring attention from the chancelors and big persons which sat in front of me. pffft. then, we had to wait all the names to be called on stage before adjourning the event. seriously, my butt's hurt resulted from sitting too long and acted innocently. even so, i managed to snapped some pictures and replying some messages but, i have to put on straight face after that when those people on stage looking at me! ;p

this year, we arrived earlier because we wanted to park at the parking area closer to the hall. since nenek and atuk were joining, so, it would be more convenient because, if else, we had to park at the field and took a bus to the hall. how can senior citizens ride on bus?!! taking a lesson from my last convocation, this year, i use a photographer to snap pictures of my convocation. well, it would be easier because i had no one to snap my pictures. yeah. i feel free without carrying my bulky camera around because if i do, i have to snap others and i'm not in them and at the end, there's no myself in my own camera. oh, what am i blabbering about? haha. too excited i guess.

the convocation event finish about 11.30am! too late for me. i guess because pro-chanselor is too friendly that he chatted each of every graduate on stage! he even made quite a long speech afterwards :P seriously, i had fun for this convocation. it's even greater than the last one. my grandparents & parents made it to my convo, i got someone to snap my pictures (which turn out great!!), bb's parents came too, both my grandparents & parents got the opportunity to sit comfortably at VIP's seats and had great view, i finally got a chance to snap photos with my besties, Intan & Pia, we had the studio photos comfortly with air-conditioned space..bla..bla, the list goes on ;p

we arrived home around 3.30pm after taking studio photos at Intekma. it was hell lot of energy suck out, but i thought it was totally worth it because i was surrounded by my love ones. thanks everyone for making my day even sweeter than it already is. my close friends since diploma, my parents & grandparents and for sure, most important of all, my ehem..ehem ;p i really proud of you, seeing you on stage nearly made me cry. (yeah, a bit emotional i am). congrats to you love! :'*

i'm a bit upset that i didn't have a chance to photograph from my own coursemates but it's ok, because we had a group photoshoot a week before. can't wait to see them all! good luck on future undertakings guys! seriously, knowing everyone is moving forward now from our last meeting, really making me proud to be someone part of their life. :')

master? got an offer to further in Master of Hospitality, and the registration going to be held this December but i thought maybe i'll put it on hold first. need to raise a stable fund for study..hihi. plus, maybe i wanted to continue study on different courses. something gotta do with MBA or business things. i hope it's the best decision i made. haven't fixed yet :)

well, that's all i think. quite a long entry. hope you guys not bored reading this (though u already were). pictures will be followed up soon!

p/s: thanks Allah swt for your blessing on that day and granted us with good health to make us available on one of my important days ;) Alhamdulillah.

shopping with my mother

today, we went to abah's officemate's wedding somewhere in Puchong. i followed them because mother told me that she wants to go to IOI Mall to buy some stuffs for the "big event" on the way back home. but, instead, abah dropped mother and i at Sunway Pyramid whilst he's going home. well, it would be better shopping without a man anyway! we can take our own sweet time surveying the items :P so, with our baju kurung and high heels (=.=') are definitely not a good choice of attire to go shopping. limits our movement, well mine specifically because mother wearing flat shoes.

there were sales here and there!! ok, i felt quite dissapointed today because mother and i bought bras at Audrey because there were 50% off by 4 items and above. actually, i prefer and Pierre Cardin's but i'm worried that it's not going to have sales at Parkson. so, i just grabbed two at Audrey. then, we went to Parkson to buy some men's apparel (for the "big event") and i was soooo pissed when i saw there were Pierre Cardin lingerie with 50% less!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the price just rm5 differs from Audrey's!!!!! and..and..it comes with set!!!!!! no! seriously i am pissed T_T ahh...surely, i'll come again next week to grab my favourite lingerie. cannot tahan meh. haha.

i also bought myself a flask at Coffee Bean to bring to my office. my initial plan was to buy a flask at Starbucks. but, this one at Coffee Bean has tea strainer inside. so, it would be easier if i wanted to make myself a tea..hee~ stressed ambience at work definitely could be eased by hot calming tea. of course it is slightly pricey than the one at Starbucks (i think because of tea strainer?) and i don't know what came into me that i bought the flask together with a tin of tea leaves (=.+) maybe i was attracted by its cute box and colourful tea tin? mother said it is expensive but i kept on telling her, it's an investment. haha >:) eh, wait. am i sounded like Rebecca Bloomwood??

so, here goes my new flask. jeng jeng.

these two gonna sit at my office table starting tomorrow B-)

we finished our shopping's mission around 5pm. still, i'm not getting myself shoes yet T_T i wanted to buy one since last few weeks but today i felt pity to see my mother to walk more especially with all shopping bags that we carried. if it were me, i don't mind walking here and there to find my perfect shoe. hehe. oh yes, we brought so many shopping bags with us and mind you, including two pillows which each was hanged on our shoulder (=.+) i can't imagine myself wearing baju kurung, with heels, plastic bags in both hands and a pillow on my shoulder. daa.

anyway, as usual, abah picked us up at Pyramid's entrance. that's it for the entry "shopping with my mother". thank you for reading! hehe :P

PTD exam!

as planned, today i went to Putrajaya to sit for my PTD test. the test location was at Precint 18 primary school. ok, i hate to talk about this school actually because it's soooooooo huge!!! soooooo organize....sooooooo modern, sooooo clean, soooo...ok, no other words. hey kids, you are so lucky and yet spoil! i envy them..huh!!

the test...erm, i thought it was quite difficult especially for common knowledge part. although i've bought "Malaysia Kita" book, but i haven't finish reading them. since i've already started working, i'd be too busy to read because there's load of works to be done. i also couldn't be able to read in the train because everyday train is packed with people which you barely can move a finger! (=.=) so, so. i just crossed my fingers and answered them all. seriously, there are many things i don't know and some i never heard of it. haha. i know, i may sound stupid because it's my own mistake, again for being i-don't-care such of person. i don't read newspaper that much. i don't bother to watch news that much. i don't care what happen everywhere else. how ignorant i am and that cost me in this exam T_T

then, we had some mathematics test. this is my favourite of all because i love maths so much (which some i already forget how to do it). i really love maths, but you need to exercise more on this subject to be excel. being in hospitality schools, we don't really do maths that much like i did in school before. it's more to business maths like accounts, finance and something like that. after that, we also had to write an essay in both Malay and English. writing an English essay was fine with me because English is our medium language at university for 5 years and i already use to it (although not that good, but still can survive). but, writing in Malay really really really difficult for me since the last essay i wrote was when i was sitting for my SPM! it's 6 years ago!!! i don't know how to interpret my arguments, how to use the sentences properly (conjuction, verbs and all), and often, i found myself having difficulties in spelling T_T

met syaza (my former classmate) during the first break. luckily i brought some kuih and biscuits from home because there's no canteen open! what's the use of break anyway when we can't get ourself a food? huhuhu. it's just waste of time and it make me even tired of waiting. so, syaza and i just chatted while waiting for time to pass. we done with our PTD exam at 4.45pm. so tired although we just sit and answering questions.

seriously, i have a bad feeling with my exam today. well, anyhow, it depends on our luck and rezeki. if Allah s.w.t says this job is belong to me, then it would. but, if not, i'll maybe sit for this exam again next year. well, with better preparation of course. hee~

cute tables & chairs! yeah..they might appear so cute. but i have back ache because they're so low that i had to duck lower to write T_T

so colourful!!! i remembered my days being as "Ketua Kecerian" for 4 years straight! hee~~ wait, why they have projector???? fuh. canggih!!

this school is so huge that i thought some spaces are waste without any use

birthday mother

yesterday was my mother 47th birthday. happy birthday to you mother! may Allah grant you with happiness & love. this is what i gave her..hee~

actually, i'm myself really wanted to eat this......but using my mother's birthday as excuse :P heee~

meja ku

as promised, this is my working table. my sanctuary (ceh!), my muse and my bed? in my dream only. makan pun terkejar2. haha.

it's still empty. no decoration yet. don't have time & money to buy stuffs to make it prettier. it's boring & lame. i know.

today is quite bad day to me. well, today is our first day making the accounts by ourself without any supervision. we've been given a list of 20 accounts, and i only could attempt 15 of them T_T well, maybe because i've stolen some of time doing photocopy and such. haih. i need to increase my kpi (key performance indicator) and making more accounts in limited time. another bad things is, i have "ketumbit" on my eye. don't know what it called in English. it was my first time ever having this. it still on the early stage but i really feel discomfort T_T it limits my movement and i feel like rubbing my eyes every hour. haih. please go away this pain please.

footnote: i envy government servant. seriously.

stack them up!

today my mother decided to clean up her prayer room by moving my two book shelf. well actually, we've been cleaning up our house since past few weeks. my parents already moved their stuffs like dresser table, closet and other old furnitures to my hometown and later, they want to stock up new ones. this is all for the big day to come next year.

ok, moving on, my mother already moved all my text books in storage box (it's sad to see them being stored actually because they are all expensive :( but we need a space in our little house). mom persuaded me to sell my books and i replied "no way in heaven i would do that!" i love all my books and i treasured them. cewah. mother already moved my 2 tiny book shelf, so i have to transfer all my novels to the other rack which the only space available is so limited to place them all :(

if you see the pictures below, you can really understand by what i meant "limited". i have to stack all the books (which personally i hate to do that but what choice do i have?). the best thing is, these aren't all the books i have. i have some other which my friends borrow, and some at my hometown. arghh! how can i arrange all these books? :( my plan is to browse for a tall/slim rack at Ikea when i get my first salary :P hoih, mampu ker? hutang dah la banyak..hohohoho

my very first job, ever

hey hey! little updates on me. well, i've been busy so far. so so busy. busy bee. haha. how many 'busy' there :P i've started working already at CIMB Bank at the HQ, KL. well, it is next to Sogo and best part is, my office is soooo near to Jln Masjid India, Jln TAR. heaven of textiles. i already can see where my money would go for my first salary :P it was tiring everyday with the journey because i'm taking Komuter and ride with my mother to go to KTM Station. being her, she would go out early (well, before 7am to be exact!). so, everyday i arrived Bank Negara KTM Station around 7.30am whilst my working hour would only start at 8.45am. since i'm not having staff pass yet, so it would be quite difficult for me to access.

my first and second day bring a heavy dizziness to me because i need to understand all the computer system and software and memorize all the steps. it's really really complicated. i was assigned a buddy, As, to show me all the systems and how it operate and memorizing, taking notes all the commands involve. i was so sleepy whenever i see all the numbers and codes.

poor me that today we had a fire drill practice. the moment they put on the emergency alarm, we were told to get down by stairs. pfffttt! my office is at 13th floor. imagine! well, i can consider myself as lucky as CIMB Bank HQ has about 30 floors. if i were about to be placed at 3oth floor, i think that i would die because of exhausted rather than on fire. haha. so, everyone were gathered at the waiting area, read: under lrt station, opposite Sogo and in front of CIMB Bank entrance. well, imagine now how much attention we freely get? (=.=) we were waiting about 2 hours under hot sunny day. i'm myself almost faint (because i have low blood pressure) because i was too tired.

above all, i feel comfortable with my my office environment. it's not room definitely, just a cubicle for each. i've got huge table, i already daydreaming what i wanna put to decorate the table and my partition wall :P i'll upload the picture soon enough ok! so, basically, my job task is to contact loan borrower and to update their account data. my department name is retail collection. everyday, we would be given a list of "uncontactable" borrowers and try to contact them using numbers in the system. is a bit challenging and tricky because majority of borrowers (especially those who have high outstanding balance) are very difficult to trace. they would barred the line, change numbers, block incoming calls, not answering calls and so on when they know bank is looking for them. that is why my team is called "investigation team". well, does it sounds like CSI to you? haha. it sounds fun, i know, but we had to at least having successful calls at least 60 persons per day. our performance will be based on that :(

anyway, i'm just hoping for the best with this job. i am thankful that i've got work with normal working hours. although the salary might seem a bit low, but for me, my happiness and convenience that matters the most :) i thought, it's not too bad for a start isn't it? hehe.

here's are some pictures during fire drill practice. during time like this, i really wish that i have phone with good camera quality.

last but definitely not the least, picture in toilet :P

alhamdulillah :)

like i've mentioned before, i went for an interview at CIMB last week. alhamdulillah, last monday i received a call telling me that i was accepted. and today, i went to HQ to collect the offer letter. well, i got a call around 10am and they wanted me to come at 2pm to collect it. so, at 1pm, i got on train and straight to CIMB. i thought collecting an offer letter would be a simple process. turn out that i had to do medical check-up and such. luckily the panel clinic is just around the area. well, to be precised, it was opposite my old training area, Semua House. hehe. i really like the doctors there, really chatty & fun to talk with. doing the X-Ray all over again. damn. how many cells are dead this time Mr. Doc?? it's not like you're going to keep the X-Ray anyway. i think, so far i already have about 4 X-Rays. if only they could be framed. HAHA.

so, i got back with my huge envelope, collect the visitor pass again to give the medical check-up result. turn out, i had to get down again to open up my CIMB account as i don't have one. well, scanned the pass again, opened up the account and collect the pass again to go up. i guess, the counter kakak already recognized my face & my ic number as i kept on coming to her to collect visitor pass for about 3 times? haha.

after that, there's another thing arises, as i don't have any EPF number yet. it was already 4pm by then and i thought, "oh no, i'm not gonna scanned my visitor pass again and collect again and go up again for just a series of numbers". so, i told the HR officer that i would go to KWSP and just give him a call to inform my EPF number then. well, the process quite fast i must say. the office closed at 4.45pm and i got there around 4.15pm, phew :P

alhamdulillah, all my businesses are doing just fine today with Allah's help. i am really thankful that i finally got a job that i thought perfectly suit me. well, office hours that matters to be exact. the salary isn't that much, but still ok to me. as long as it could cover all my expenses & loan XD insyaAllah, i'll report my duty next week :)

The Switch

anyway, remember my previous entry about barbecue weekend at my friend's house at Labu, Negeri Sembilan and my date? ok, this entry will be more specifically on my date. hehe. no, no, it's not about us. phew. haha. it's about the movie we watched. it's sooo many choices of movies and we gave it a go to The Switch because we assumed that if Jennifer Aniston in it, it would be funny and good movie. so, we sacrificed other goooooood movies by choosing it.

what i can say is...

it was FREAKING BORING!!! we leave the hall before we even finish it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it's such a waste. seriously. Jennifer, why you turn me down like this T_T
