Hanif Aiden's going bald!

Assalammualaikum wbt,

Yes, you heard me right! He is bald now! No worries, he is still handsome as he always be, but a little less jambu hahaha (biased, I know). It is not like he had a great hair before this, because we didn't really shaved his head properly before (as we did ourselves). This time, we went straight to the salon (or a barber), to shaved his head smooth. So that he will grow a better nicer hair and hopefully, straight even.

Actually, the real reason why we shaved his head is because I found FLEA's eggs!!! Yuck! It was this one fine morning at my kampung, where I sat outside holding him on my lap, feeling all motherly caressing his hair and kissing him while he angelically sat still (because he just woke up) when I discovered few tiny white dots. I tried to deny myself, ohh..it must be dust he picked up while sleeping next to the door, or must be from the pillows perhaps..but I just kept finding more and more identical white dots. No...It can't be it, I thought to myself..my worst nightmare might be real and I couldn't contain myself and shrieked "Ya Allah...kepala awak ada telur kutu keeeeeee?!!"

Yes, it is confirmed, my little boy has a freaking FLEA'S EGGS! I tried to look around his hair frantically for any alive fleas, and to my relieved there is none, phewwww. But wait, that means, they just lay their eggs off my baby's head and run to somewhere else...maybe on other people's heads? OH.MY.GOD. I am so paranoid!! But my baby doesn't seem scratching his head or showing any signs of discomfort. Of course, my baby has become a subject of joke throughout our weekend because of the damn fleas, poor him.

We found out later that he caught the flea from his cousins whom my MIL taking care of too. She got them probably from her other cousins on the other side or might be from the school perhaps. Huargghh..how I hate fleas! Simply because they are contagious! But, it is quite understandable if you have started school or especially if you're in boarding school/uni hostels, fleas seem like a famous issue. What a kid without fleas, ey? Hahaha. So yeah, going bald seems like a perfect option. We have been always planning to shave his head off but kept on delaying it, but now, it is a perfect reason. No hold back, hair will grow anyway and baby is cute with or without hair nonetheless.

We went to the nearby salon nearby the housing area which we regularly go to that we became friends with the owner. Oh my dear, to hold my baby still while shaving his head such a challenging task!! He won't sit still! We were struggling and he started to get restless (probably due to the waiting and the coverall).

After seems like forever, we are finally done. His head is so clean and smooth and sometimes, I've seen reflection on it (ok, that's exaggerate, but I swear it does look shiny under the light). His reaction? What does he knowwww anyway. But I will miss definitely the smell of his shampoo which I am addicted to. Now whenever I tried to sniff or kissing the head, all I get is a cactus-y  grass field poking my nose (-____-) And yeah, he look more manly and (naughtier) with this new look.

                                               Hello ladies, how ya doin'?
