Maroon 5 live in Malaysia 2012

Yes!! You heard me!!!!!!!!! it's Maroon 5 again y'all! Forget about Beijing for a while, this is what I wanted to update before the memories of that night gone. Blame the aging haha. It's their second visit here in Malaysia. I knew that they will be coming somewhere around May. Once I knew it, I started googling who their sponsor was, the organizer yada yada. It was all because I really wanted the Meet & Greet passes so baddddd! I entered contests, sign up for caller ringtone (that explains why you listen to Payphone when you call my office number) and more. By the way, few days before the releasing of tickets in stores, I've got the invitation from PR Worldwide to purchase early bird tickets. They even gave me the early bird code. Unfortunately, I didn't know what was the use because I still getting normal seats like others who bought at the counter. Yeah, because when I bought it online (following their instruction), the system didn't ask me to enter any codes pun. Anyway, not my rezeki to get the Meet & Greet pass :(

I purchased VVIP tickets. And that's reallllllllllllllllly burned my pockets. Well, using credit card, there's always advantages and disadvantages :B

Anyway, this time the concert was held at Stadium Shah Alam. I'm a bit concern about the venue this time because Stadium Shah Alam isn't an indoor stadium, so what happens if it rains?! Alhamdulillah, it didn't. 

We arrived at the stadium about 7.00pm. As usual, before the concert, we walked around at the stalls to get t-shirts and some Maroon 5 merchandises. I got myself a t-shirt and recycled bag. I would say that as a VVIP ticket holders, we arrived a little bit too early. Yeah, it's cool when you didn't need to queue, no need to book places and all. Bumped into my UiTM friend, Qurratu there. Well, not really 'bumped' because she updated her status in Facebook saying she'll be there so, I was kinda expected it. Plus, her seat was in front of me. Ahaha. 

The Stage

VVIP much? 

We met Andy from Estranged at the concert. I was pretty sure he got 'All Access' pass. Hmmmph :/ I didn't recognize him at first but bb did. He took a picture with him, of course I wanted one too! Heee.

I think I'm too short for him. Look how he lean his body hmmph :/

The concert started about 9.00pm. Yeah, we did come early. I thought we need to queue like last year but I forgot that I had VVIP pass anyway :B I didn't quite like the seating arrangement this year. Well, hate it to be exact. Because it's way too far from the stage. Waaaa. But I don't dare enough to buy the standing area ticket because I don't like to be cramped in the sea of people. Plus, you need to be early to get the closest place to the stage and I'm pretty sure I don't have the strength to stand that long :P 

Back to the concert, the opening artist was The Cab. Well, they're pretty good. Maroon 5 came out at 10.00pm! Last year I still remember that it started at 8.30p.m sharp! Ohh, funny thing about the VVIP seat, I didn't sit there quite long though. After few songs from The Cab, I went down to the more spacious area to enjoy the concert. To dance and shout to be precised hehe. That's because people at the seating area just sit still and watched! They're not even stand to dance or move while sitting! No..that's not my way to enjoy a concert! If I stand up at my seat to dance, of course people would throw their mineral bottle at me because I block their view. ahaha. So, get off from there was the best option then. 

I was pretty regret that I didn't attempt to bring my DSLR because I was afraid the same thing would happen like last year :( But, this time, they didn't even check our bag and I can see a pak cik in front of me showing off his DSLR. Yes pak cik, I know it would produce a hell lot of pretty pictures. I just relying on my borrowed cheap digital camera to record and snap pictures :/ 

Overall, the concert wasn't bad. More or less the same like last year except it's without Jesse though :( I did enjoy it. But it didn't give me  much affection like last year. I remember, I listened to Maroon 5 every single morning, watched the video of the concert every day for months after their concert last year! Not this time though. Is this aging sign? Oh no haha. I can see Adam not really him, I mean, not so much of talking/interaction with his fan this time. Maybe because of the recent break up? ahaha. :P Last year he was really enjoying himself and rocking with us! It's quite true though because I've read the same feedback from some blogs and stuffs. Plus, I think PR Worldwide should improve their recording/screen/camera whatever it call. Because the screen/picture was quite blur. I prefer Westlife concert last year because they were recording in HD. So, even you are holding the cheapest tickets, you still can see them clearly on the screen.
