As I grow older and been in many places, I would say I have friends segmentations; childhood friends, school friends, university, work and maybe some other events where I made friends with (rarely!). But of course, there are set of friends which are close to your heart, although you don't call or meet them, but you know they will always be there for you. These are special people and you should appreciate them and keep them close.
Yesterday, I met with my school friends, Manisah, Masyuni and Beeb. It was a very last minute plan, thought an evening before, and confirmation 2 hours prior to the actually meeting haha. People always say, a long planning will always lead to cancellation, so it's better to do it last minute to avoid frustrations and damages, well, quite true actually. I was contemplating at first because I needed to pack for 1 week stay at my parents, but screw it, I haven't seen these people in ages! We met at IOI City Mall, Putrajaya and I took Grabcar as it's only 10-15 minutes drive.
Oh my God, we really had a good time and endless laughs! I felt my stomach is cramp from too many laughing. It feels so good reminiscing old memories, gossiping and catching updates with their lives. We ate our lunch at Johnny's first then continue for dessert at Dip N Dip. There were just so many gossips to catch up! I felt so happy, because with them, I can mock them, fooling around like nobody's business, without being judged or heart feeling. A good friend is the one when you mock them, they will mock you back even nastier! Hahaha. Time sure flies so fast, I wish I could stay but reality and responsibilities are calling, hence us Mommas (Masyuni and I) left early leaving Manisah & Beeb doing whatever things the singles would do. Ahh..pure bliss. Masyuni drove me home as her house also in Puchong and on her way back too #savemoneyfromGrab.
I think this meet up once a while is healthy in any friendship. Yes, you may contact them through social medias and whatsApp but nothing beats face to face #oldschool. I hope this friendship will last forever. Amin.
