job fair

as planned, today we went to PWTC job fair and carnival. bb decided to take up public transportation instead to save up on fuel and time looking for parking. bb's sister, kakngah joined along too. bb parked at carrefour and we walked to Subang Jaya KTM station. it's a bit complicated route because, we stopped at KL central. took Putra to KLCC. was a mistake there because we thought PWTC is within a walking distance from KLCC. haha. take a train back to Masjid Jamek. changed the train to Star and straight to PWTC. it's was a very hooooot sunny day. my feet are hurt. funny thing is, we didn't know that komuter can go straight to PWTC. we just have to stop at station Putra and walk from there. grr. we wasted times and money because we kept on changing train. but, it's ok. that's an experience for isn't it? have fun anyway because, it's like sort of a challenge to find the exact route and all that. haha. i have to get use with public transportation from now because if i were to work in KL, i have no choice but to use public transport. if i were to have a car, seriously, i'd rather, again, use the public transport. the traffic and parking are madness!

arrived there around 12.30pm. as expected, the place were congested with people!! i brought 10 resumes, but i guess, i only dropped about 5 of them? i did survey on the hotels, but i prefer to work in the admin area. well, i love hotels, but i just cannot stand the operation schedule and the shift. because, if i could, i want to straight having a stable job for a long term period. i guess, work in hotel, for a person like me, maybe it can last for a year or two. well, i have a thought that if i'm getting married, i prefer not to work in hotel because once you're a hotelier, u have to devote your life to it. hey, yes, i want to spend time with my husband and kids ok? ;p met other classmates too there, rafi, syaza, beeh, khai, ria, ernie, ekin, zaharah and more are all there too. not just them, i met also my other faculty colleagues.

besides that, i also dropped my resume to other companies like Eon bank, JW marriot (admin please!), Bank Negara, Maybank, Mediaprima (eh?)..bla..bla. eh, excuse me, there are more banks that i applied rather than the hotels itself? haha. it's probably because of the quite good salary and very beneficial benefits they offered. i really thought it's worth it.

we got back home around 5pm. seriously, my feet hurt. i don't really like being in komuter because i thought the ventilation is poor. the journey is killing me because i felt like i couldn't breathe rightly especially when it is pack with people (guess it always does). they should put windy/stronger aircond just like the LRT does. plus, i hate men who sneak into the woman's couch in komuter! seriously, there are about 5 translations of notice about it! anyway, it was a fun trip :p what's important, i got gifts from the company i'm applying for. hahahahhahahahaaha. (evil laugh)
